SUMMARY:Life with Flowers\, Frances Palmer
DESCRIPTION:Join Frances Palmer as she brings a fresh\, inspiring perspective to the garden\, guiding us through six distinct growing periods—from the quiet magic of prevernal\, when snowdrops and hellebores first break through winter’s chill\, to the lush abundance of summer\, the rich color of fall with dahlias and Japanese anemones\, and finally to hibernal\, when we retreat indoors and savor the beauty of forced bulbs and greenhouse blooms. This engaging talk is filled with practical tips\, creative DIY projects\, and favorite floral recipes\, all woven together with reflections on patience\, resilience\, and the delightful unpredictability of nature. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or simply love being surrounded by beauty\, Frances will leave you energized\, inspired\, and ready to see your garden—and the seasons—in a whole new way. With nearly four decades of celebrated work in ceramics\, Frances brings a unique dual lens to her craft—shaping vessels in the studio that elevate her garden’s blooms\, while cultivating extraordinary flowers outdoors that\, in turn\, inspire her art. This seamless dialogue between garden and studio is at the heart of her creative life—and it’s what makes this talk so special. Elm Street Books will be selling Life with Flowers. \nTo register\, please click here. \n
